Why am I here?  Good question.  I'm here because I'm sick of the way celebrities are worshipped, and how every minute detail of their life is reported.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for them, I'm usually annoyed by them.  I'm fine with discussing an actor's movies, a singer's music, or a model's latest shoot, but it seems like our society is drowning in the minutia of celebrity.  I don't care what kind of dress the starlet of the moment wears to the oscars, who adopted a child from africa, who is dating who, etc.  This blog is basicallya public forum for my occasional rudeness, and my acerbic wit.  By the way, if I mention any celebrity "gossip" or "news" in this blog, don't put any stock in it.  It was probably pulled from TV, the radio, or a tabloid, and may or may not be true.  It's just being mentioned as a way of illustrating excessive celebrity coverage.
