A Cold Way to Go...
I just saw a strange article. It was about Anna Nicole Smith and James Brown. As you probably know, they're both dead. I knew that ANna Nicole Smith hadn't been buried yet (after about 2 weeks), but neither has James Brown (after 2 months!). The article on Yahoo stated that Anna Nicole's body was already beginning to decompose because it has been refrigerated, but not embalmed, where as James Brown is holding up pretty well because of immediate embalming. Here's my question: Have you ever had a friend or relative be buried weeks or months after they've passed away? How sick is that? Obviously, there are legal matters holding up the burials, but come on, is this really the way to honor someone you supposedly care about?
