Idol Gives Back
I was able to watch some of American Idol's charity special "Idol Gives Back". Now, let's get this straight. Randy Jackson went to New Orleans to take a look at the damage caused by one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history, Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell went to Africa and were among counless sick and orphaned children, and Paula abdul went two blocks away to the Boys and Girls club in Los Angeles. What??? Was her idea of visiting middle class suburbs shot down? Is that why she was forced to travel 10 minutes away from the studio? I shouldn't complain. After all, I'm sure the traffic was killer.
Speaking of killer, am I the only one who thought it was tasteless to have a collection of celebrities dancing and making funny faces while they were singing "Staying Alive" during a show to fee HUNGRY PEOPLE? HELLO! They're sick and hungry, and you have rich people doing funny dances and singing "Staying Alive". That's a little twisted, and if I think something is twisted, then it's twisted.
