I just read that Hugh Grant attacked a photographer...with  baked beans?  Charges are not being brought against him because of the nonserious nature of the crime, and the lack of premeditation.  Normally, I would complain about the lack of punishment, but it's beans.  Beans!  Could you imagine walking into a police department and filing a complaint that someone threw beans at you?
