Well, supposedly Kelly Clarkson had a disagreement with Clive Davis and the rest of the record execs.  It seems that they had a bunch of happy pop songs for Kelly to sing, but instead, she wanted to sing the dark songs that she had written.  Well, in order to protect her brooding artistic street cred, she took the battle public, and now she appears to be in damage control mode.  Message to Kelly: You have a contract because you won first place on a televised talent contest.  Clive Davis has been in the recording industry for a half a century.  The point?  Your a whiney, screeching pop tart who is where you are due to pure luck.  There are coffee shops/clubs all over the country who have more talented people performing right now.  Remember that.
