I know a lot of people were outraged about Miley Cyrus' Vanity Fair pictures.  I was too, but not because of the exposed back.  I was shocked at how awful she looked!  The pictures used very little make-up and depicted her in a more "natural" state.  Well, Miley should thank her lucky stars for make-up, and hair stylists, because she obviously needs the work.  

    Now, appropriateness and looks aside...her father was there and they both approved the pictures!  Now they're changing they're view?  Could it be that Disney was appalled to see their teenaged cash cow portrayed in a more mature light?  If this is the case, it's laughable.

    Look at her hair, make-up, and the way she often dresses.  They're selling her appearance.  Do you think she has made millions of dollars based solely on her singing and acting ability?  I don't think so, and for anyone who doubts me, let's send Miley out there with no make-up and no time with a hair stylist.  Let's see how many people watch the show and listen to the music.  Next time someone criticizes the Vanity Fair photos, remember: She's objectified everyday of her life, those pictures were just a type of objectification that her boss didn't like.
