John Edward really went out on a limb today!  He endorsed Barack Obama for President.  Here's my question: Why didn't John Edwards endorse Obama4 months ago when he dropped out of the race?  If he were the best candidate, shouldn't he have said so?  Does it have anything to do with Obama increasing his lead in both electoral votes and super delegates?  Does it have anything to do with the National Party beginning to get behind Obama and discourage Hillary Clinton?  Does it have anything to do with John Edwards being a gutless individual who waited to give an endorsement to the winner just a short time before he TECHNICALLY won?   Well, I think it's the last one.  Maybe he's trying to kiss up in the hopes that he could be Obama's vice president.  At any rate, due to the lateness of the decision, John Edwards endorsement isn't worth the paper it's written on.
